Chancellor Shafor

Chancellor Shafor is a patent litigation attorney at Eversheds Sutherland (US), where his practice encompasses a broad range of intellectual property matters, including patent prosecution, enforcement, licensing, and freedom-to-operate opinions. His experience spans various technology areas, with notable work in chemistry-related patents, specifically concerning chemical solutions and peracetic acid for poultry treatment. He also advises clients in diverse sectors such as non-woven product equipment manufacturing and fashion apparel, indicating a versatile technical understanding. In his tracked litigation work, Mr. Shafor has represented defendants, with one recorded appearance in such a capacity.

Currently serving as Counsel at Eversheds Sutherland (US), Mr. Shafor leverages his background which includes an internship with Global Patent Solutions, where he analyzed PCT applications for patentability. Mr. Shafor is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia. He holds a B.S., with honors, from Georgia Institute of Technology, a J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, and an M.S. from the University of Florida Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering.
