April Sunyoung Park

April Sunyoung Park is a principal at Fish & Richardson P.C. in Washington, D.C., focusing her practice on patent infringement litigation across various U.S. District Courts and the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC). Her litigation practice primarily involves defending operating companies against patent infringement claims.

Ms. Park's experience spans a wide array of technologies, including wireless communication, image processing, mobile device resource management, solar cells, solid-state drives (SSDs), stacked electronic components, and digital signal processing for televisions and smartphones. She has represented prominent technology companies, including Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. in patent disputes concerning wireless communication, image processing, and digital signal processing. Additionally, she has defended Jinko Solar in ITC litigation involving photovoltaic cells and represented a consortium of companies including SK hynix, Dell, Acer, ASUS, HP, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise in an ITC investigation related to SSDs and stacked electronic components. Her tracked case includes an appearance as of counsel for the defendant in Dish Technologies L.L.C. v. Frndly TV, Inc.

In addition to district court and ITC proceedings, Ms. Park's practice includes inter partes review (IPR) at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), which is listed as one of her firm's services.
