Alfonso Garcia Chan

Alfonso Garcia Chan is a seasoned patent litigator and partner at Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP, specializing in complex intellectual property disputes for technology companies, universities, and research institutes. His practice encompasses a broad range of technology sectors, including semiconductors, electronic technology-intensive matters, biomaterials, medical devices, computer systems, software, cybersecurity, telecommunications, mobile technology, and mechanical devices. Mr. Chan is known for his experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in district courts nationwide and before the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. Of his three tracked appearances, one was plaintiff-side and two were defendant-side, reflecting his diverse practice.

A notable case in his portfolio is Skysong Innovations, LLC v. CrowdStrike, Inc. et al., where Mr. Chan is counsel of record for the defendant, CrowdStrike.
