Adam G. Price

Adam G. Price is a seasoned patent litigator with a practice focused predominantly on intellectual property disputes, particularly patent infringement actions. His technical experience spans a range of high-tech fields, including data encryption and access control, digital rights management, Bluetooth and wireless communication protocols, camera-cell phone integration, data transfer protocols, mobile phones, software systems, and computer hardware and peripherals. While he represents both plaintiffs and defendants, a significant portion of his tracked case appearances and notable outcomes involve plaintiff-side representation, often for patent owners against major technology companies.

Mr. Price is a co-founder and partner at DiNovo Price LLP, an Austin-based firm specializing in intellectual property and antitrust litigation nationwide. Since co-founding the firm in 2007, he has served as lead or supporting counsel in cases that have collectively generated over $100 million in settlements, verdicts, or awards. His representative matters include enforcing patents related to high data rate information transfer against cell phone manufacturers, including a $5.9 million jury verdict obtained against Samsung that settled favorably on appeal, and representing KlausTech in an internet advertising patent dispute against Google which settled favorably. He has also been lead counsel in multiple ongoing patent infringement cases for One-E-Way, Inc. against companies such as Samsung, Anker Innovations, and Dell Technologies.

His practice also encompasses significant experience with Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) proceedings, specifically Inter Partes Review (IPR). DiNovo Price LLP has navigated numerous IPR filings, including securing non-institution of multiple petitions and the survival of patentable claims in litigation, such as in matters involving data transfer technology patents.

Mr. Price earned his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 2000 and his B.A. in History from the University of Texas in 1996. He is licensed to practice in Texas, including the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Southern, and Western Districts of Texas, and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
