Adam Adler

Adam Adler is a Partner at Reichman Jorgensen Lehman & Feldberg LLP, based in their Washington, D.C. office, where he was promoted to Partner effective January 1, 2025. His practice focuses on intellectual property, constitutional law, and creators' rights, leveraging his background as a computer scientist and statistician to handle complex technological disputes. Mr. Adler's expertise spans a wide array of cutting-edge technologies, including cryptocurrency platforms, digital security, deepfake applications, machine learning, and cloud storage/virtualization technology. Prior to joining Reichman Jorgensen, Mr. Adler was an associate attorney at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP.

In his patent litigation practice, Mr. Adler has demonstrated a strong inclination toward representing plaintiffs, as indicated by his single tracked appearance as Pro Hac Vice Counsel on the plaintiff side and significant web-searchable successes. He notably secured a $673 million patent infringement award for Kove IO against Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2024. This landmark case involved foundational technology crucial to Amazon.com and its cloud storage infrastructure, where Mr. Adler spearheaded Kove's damages theory and cross-examined key Amazon executives and engineers.

While primarily focused on patent disputes, Mr. Adler also engages in broader intellectual property administrative proceedings. In October 2024, he successfully persuaded the Patent and Trademark Office to cancel Marvel and DC Comics' jointly-owned SUPER HERO trademarks on behalf of an independent comic creator. He earned his J.D. from Yale Law School in 2015 and holds a B.S. in Mathematical & Computational Science from Stanford University, graduating with distinction in 2012. Mr. Adler served as a law clerk for Judge Kent A. Jordan at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and Judge Leonard P. Stark at the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and New York.
