Aaron Frankel

Aaron Frankel is a highly regarded patent litigator and a partner at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP, based in the firm's New York office. He specializes in complex patent, trademark, and trade secret litigation, representing clients across a range of technical fields including electrical, computer, and mechanical intellectual property. His practice frequently involves cutting-edge disputes in industries such as advanced networking, broadcasting technology, and software. Frankel handles both plaintiff and defense-side matters, advising technology companies, patent owners, and defendants in high-stakes disputes.

Frankel has been instrumental in securing significant victories for his clients. He obtained a $23.4 million patent infringement verdict for Acceleration Bay against Microsoft subsidiary Activision in a case involving multiplayer functionality in 'Call of Duty' and 'World of Warcraft' games. He also secured a $30.5 million willful patent infringement verdict for Acceleration Bay against Amazon Web Services in a networking technology dispute. As part of the Kramer Levin team, he contributed to a $1.9 billion judgment against Cisco Systems Inc. for Centripetal Networks Inc. related to network security patents.
