Orca Security Ltd. sued Wiz, Inc. in the District of Delaware for patent infringement. Orca initially asserted the '031 and '032 patents and later filed a Second Amended Complaint asserting six patents; Wiz counterclaimed. After the PTAB held the '031, '032, and '685 patents unpatentable, the parties stipulated to dismissal with prejudice, which the court so-ordered and terminated on January 13, 2026.

Wiz, Inc. filed an inter partes review petition challenging claims 1–22 of U.S. Patent No. 11,693,685. The PTAB instituted review on December 9, 2024, and issued a Final Written Decision on December 8, 2025, holding all challenged claims unpatentable.
